Paved Paradise & a ?

I've always liked this song it has such a good message behind it, but the other day I found this clip on u tube which highlights some horrifying statistics.

So my question is -
Do you think musicians should use their public position to highlight valuable causes more??

Let me know what you think.

Yes and No. Sometimes a valuable cause may be valuable to one and not another. So I guess it depends?

Hi, I have always liked this song too. Seeing this clip accompanying the song really drives home, the total destruction mankind is inflicting on our planet. So very sad.

So in answer to your question - yes i believe musicians should use their high profiles to get the message out there to STOP the greed and destruction of our beautiful planet, as well as highlight valuable causes. After all music/musicians have an influence over most peoples lives.

that is a great video and I think it was well done. I agree with Ron, it all depends on the cause.
