REMEMBRANCE DAY

At the 11th hour,
of the 11th day,
of the 11th month....
We will remember them
Lest We Forget

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

(from 'In Flanders Fields', John Mc Crae, 1872-1918)
